ABOUT
During the municipal term of Honorable Pag-asa Estrella, the Parents Teacher Association President of Tiaong Elementary School located at Brgy. Tiaong, Guiguinto, Bulacan in the person of Mr. Restituto Palileo had a meeting with the Mayor and Elementary School principal, Mrs. Loida Estrella, who happens to be the wife of Mayor Estrella. They discussed the complexities that the elementary graduates will be facing because of the lack of barangay high school in the remote area of Guiguinto. They come up with the decision to establish a secondary level in barangay Tiaong for this is the center of all barangay's situated in the rural areas. It was inaugurated in May 18, 1982 Tiaong Barangay High School started with two faculties namely Ms. Fedeliza Bartolome and Mr. Alfredo Ladesma with 50 first year high school students only using the elementary high school library under the supervision of Mrs. Loida Estrella as the School Principal.
By the year 1987-1994, Mrs. Fedeliza B. Narciso acted as the officer-in-charge. The said elementary library became the high school administration office. The Stock room and School Canteen was also given attention for its needed renovation. The donation of the multi-purpose hall by the Chinese chambers also marked as one of the physical improvements of the school. There was alaso an increase in the number of faculty from two to ten teachers. Secondary graduates of the year 1986-1987 were the first batch of graduation that marked as the most significant accomplishment of Tiaong, its under the supervision of Mrs. Fedeliza B. Narciso.
In the year 1994, Mrs. Narciso was replaced with Mrs. Adoracion C. Tacardon. Renovation of two classroom from sawall-made to create was materialized. She was then replaced by Mr. Ronaldo S.L. Castro headed the school in its name, "Tiaong National High Scholl" from 1995-2007.
The municipality of Guiguinto whom Ambrosio "Boy" Cruz serve as its honorable mayor in the year 2002 found out that the students population had been increasing in number that it is big necessity to find a site for building additional class rooms and facilities to meet the needs of students of Tiaong National high School, DepEd Brgy.Pulong Gubat, Guiguinto, Bulacan. This was the biggest accomplishment of the school under the supervision of Mr. Ronaldo S.L Castro.
In the year 2001, a movement of school principal happened that resulted to the transfer of Mr. Ronaldo S.L Castro. Iba National High School. He was then replaced by Mr. Lauro L. Lagman.
January 2012, there was again a movement of school principal where in Mr. Lauro L. Lagman was transferees to FVR HS and Tiaong National High School is now under the supervision of Mrs. Teresita D. De Martin. From the time of her stay in the school, she has been working for the school'd improvement as the Construction on path walk, plant boxes, roof repair of the administration building
The next developing chapter is during the time Mr. Lamberto Dionisio, Tiaong National High School had a drastic change and make-over such as the provision of new PPP building the Grade 7 building and senior high school building, repainting of all buildings ,cemented the path walks, allocation of funds to build concreted pavements of the main gate road entrance, provisions of plant box, gardens in different areas of quadrangle, repairs of ceilings of computer laboratories, and repairs of Gates and the stage. Provision of the following such as tiling of faulty room, covered path walks and interconnecting path bridges, CCTV cameras, DCP for TVL and ICT Class, income generating project such as bakery and canteen to both senior and junior high school, indeed the time of Mr. Dionisio is considered the stage of productive development.
At present, the School is under the supervision of Mr. Jaypee DS. Armenion that made ways to a new and amazing changes and development, the school added two buildings, one is a 2 storey 10 classroom building, and underway is a two storey four classroom building and covered basketball court, additional CCTV, safety grill for TVL laboratories construction of banner holder, remodeling of stage and entrance garden, acquisition of tools and instruments for senior high school laboratory, provision of stainless gate and fortified concrete perimeter fence, Also the repainting of all buildings and classrooms.
Presently, the school is morphing to a fresh and more conducive and safer place to attain the ultimate goal dedicated to her clientele and the community it belongs, thanks to its constituents, the management, faculty and different private and government institutions that helped our school attain her Great Glory.
Presently, the school is managed by Eduardo T. Mañas and is morphing to a fresh and more conducive and safer place amidst the pandemic. In the face of unprecedented challenges brought on by the recent pandemic, our school community rallied together with unwavering determination and dedication to achieve remarkable success in various areas. Highlightingg our accomplishments during this trying time, showcasing our commitment to excellence, resilience, and community spirit.
Brigada Eskwela 2nd Runner Up Winner:
Despite the limitations imposed by the pandemic, our school community remained steadfast in ensuring a safe and conducive learning environment. During the Brigada Eskwela campaign, teachers, parents, students, and local volunteers worked hand in hand to clean and beautify our school campus. As a result of our collective efforts, we were awarded the 2nd Runner Up in the Division level for the Brigada Eskwela initiative. This recognition signifies our commitment to fostering an environment that nurtures growth and learning.
Achievements in Different Contests:
Amidst the challenges of remote learning, our students have displayed outstanding talent and dedication in various academic and extracurricular competitions. Notable achievements include:
Student Activity/Student day: our students won different contest in athletic events and attend science fair and symposiums.
Math Olympiad: A team of young mathematicians secured the top position in the School-level Math Olympiad, showcasing their problem-solving prowess.
School Journalism: Our team demonstrated exceptional eloquence and critical thinking, bagging the winnings in the writing and photo journalism competition.
Art Competition: A budding artist from our school won first place in a national festival of talent Division and Entry in Regional level, showcasing creativity and artistic brilliance.1st runner up in film making via national event at fun fiesta sa Pilipinas.
Maintenance of the School Amidst the Pandemic:
Maintaining the school infrastructure during the pandemic was a daunting task, but the relentless efforts of our maintenance staff and volunteers and the adminikstration ensured that the school remained safe and functional. Regular sanitization, repair work, and adherence to safety protocols were implemented to safeguard the health and well-being of our students and staff.
Programs to Support Students and Families:
Understanding the hardships faced by our students and their families during these trying times, our school initiated various programs to provide support and assistance:
Remote Learning Support: We ensured that every student had access to digital learning resources, including providing laptops and internet connections to those in need.
Assistance Program: With the help of generous donors and community partners, we organized Reading drives and distributed essential supplies to families facing financial difficulties.
Mental Health and Counseling Services: The school provided virtual counseling sessions and mental health support to help students cope with stress and anxiety during the pandemic.
Throughout this challenging period, our school community has demonstrated extraordinary resilience, determination, and compassion. Our achievements in the Brigada Eskwela competition, academic contests, maintenance efforts, and support programs are a testament to the strength of our unity and the commitment to ensuring quality education for our students, even amidst adversity. THE NEW RULES AND REGULATION OF TIAONG NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL
Series of 2013-2014
SECTION 1 – THE PRESCRIBED UNIFORM (*)
Male
• White polo shirt with patch and black long pants
• Black shoes with plain white socks
• School ID
Female
• White navy-collared blouse and red plain necktie with patch
• Red checkered all around pleated skirt with a length of 2 inches below the knees
• Black shoes with plain white socks
• School ID
Haircut
• For Male students, the acceptable haircut shall beat least 2 inches above the ears and 3 inches above the collar line.
• Hair color is strictly prohibited to all students
Rules on Uniform and ID
• All students are encouraged to be simple and neat in appearance.
• Every student is required to wear the prescribed school uniform at all times during the regular school days.
• The blouses of the female students and the polo shirts of male students must be properly buttoned. Skirts must be reasonably of decent length.
• Undershirts of male students should strictly be in white, not printed nor colored.
• The P.E. uniform is worn only in P.E. classes.
• The Students’ school I.D. is strictly prohibited.
• For Female students’ – No wearing of ankle – length skirt, crumpled/ printed/ colored socks, sandals, fancy shoes, caps, multiple earrings, anklets, make up / lipstick.
• Fancy haircuts, highlighted or dyed hair, tattoos, long/ colored nails are not acceptable.
• For male students – No wearing of “hi-hop or baston” pants and other outlandish style of pants, dangling belt, fancy shoes, sandals/slippers, caps, sunglasses, earrings, satanic pendants or bracelets.
PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION OF SECTION 1
First Offense – Respondent shall be warned and reprimanded.
Second Offense – Respondent’s parent shall be summoned to the Office of the Guidance Officer together with the Level Discipline Officer/ Level Chairman/ Adviser for a dialogue on the matter .A written agreement shall be made regarding the offense
Third Offense – The written agreement shall be enforced.
SECTION 2- ATTENDANCE
Regular and punctual attendance is absolutely necessary. Students must attend the flag ceremony every Monday at 7:15 a.m and Flag retreat every Friday at 3:30 p.m.
Tardiness – A student is considered tardy if he comes to class 15 minutes after the bell has rung.
Cutting Classes – A Student cuts classes if he/she willfully does not attend in one or more subject/s but present in some subjects
Absentism
A student who has been absent for more than three days is required to present to the office of the Guidance Officer a written explanation of his absence sign by his/her parent/guardian immediately after the day he/she was absent.
A prolonged absence of at least five days caused by illness must be certified with a written statement from a doctor. (Optional)
When a student is absent from the class, he is responsible for all matters that were taken up in his class during his absence and should make all necessary arrangement for missed assignments, lesson and projects with the teacher.
The parent/ guardian has to personally seek permission for his/ her child to leave the school during class hours to attend to social appointments of any kind.
When student is sick or not feeling well and has to leave the school during class hours, he needs to secure a gate pass from clinic staff. The gate pass has to be signed by the Adviser/ Guidance Officer /Discipline Officer/ Level Chairman before presenting it to the guard.
SECTION III – NORMS AND CONDUCT
IN THE CAMPUS
• All students should give due respect to the school administrators, teachers, personnel and visitors.
• Students are expected to take care of school properties.
• No student is allowed to loiter around the school premises.
• Students are off limits in the faculty rooms and administrative offices unless for valid reasons.
• No student is allowed to leave the campus during class hours without written permission from their advisers/ school medical officer / level chairman / discipline officer or guidance officer.
• Students must wear prescribed uniform and I.D. at all times.
• Students are discouraged from inviting guests to school for unofficial reason. Students will be responsible for the behavior of the guest.
• Exclusive boy-girl pairings and public display of affection inside the campus are strictly prohibited.
INSIDE THE CLASSROOM
• Silence must strictly be observed in entering and leaving the classroom.
• If the teacher is late, the students should review the lessons while waiting. If the teacher is absent, inform immediately the Level Chairman to assign a substitute.
• When a teacher or a visitor enters the room, all students should stand erect to greet him/her.
• Students should maintain the cleanliness of the classroom. Littering inside the classroom will be dealt with accordingly.
• At all times, students should not write anything on the board without the permission of the teacher. The teacher's desk is exclusively for teacher's use only. Any damage or loss of school properties inside the room such as the chairs, electric bulbs; doors, etc. is the responsibility of the students.
C. IN THE LEARNING CENTER / LIBRARY
• The L.C./ Library is open during class days from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. It is a place for studying and other intellectual activities that require concentration. Thus, silence must prevail.
• A Library card must be secured by students to be able to borrow books in the library.
• A student is responsible for the reading materials he/she uses in the library. In case of losses and damages, the student will be liable for replacing them with the current cost.
D. IN PUBLIC PLACES AND GATHERINGS
• Students are expected to behave with kindness and courtesy even outside the school.
• Refrain from attracting attention by way of boisterous yelling, laughter and giggling. Speak in low voice,
SECTION IV- SCHOOL DISCIPLINE
• Discipline measures are employed by the TNHS to correct erring students and for them not to repeat their mistakes, to safeguard the name of the school and to help in the progressive development of the whole studentry.
• Warning- The attention of the student is formally called in connection to some offense or violation.
• Probation- Habitual misbehavior and unsatisfactory conduct places a student under probation for a specific period of time.
• Suspension- The student is deprived from attending classes and school activities for a determined period depending upon the gravity of offense but is asked to stay in the guidance center / Learning Center to serve his suspension.
• Dropping/Dismissal- A student may be dropped from the roll if after due process was found guilty of committing a serious or major offense. However, if he/she decided to transfer to another school, he/she is supported w/a letter of recommendation.
Offense Behavior is categorized as either minor or major offenses.

• Forging of Excuse Letters

MAJOR OFFENSES:
• Cheating
• Theft
• Use of Indecent Language
• Bringing of Pornographic Pictures/Materials
• Tampering of Public Documents
• Vandalism- destruction of school properties
• Possession and Use of deadly weapons such as knives, ice-picks, and hand- made toy guns.
• Threat/Intimidation/Bullying/Extortion inside the vicinity of the school.
• Possession and use of prohibited drugs, cigarettes, liquor, explosives
• Gambling of any kind
• Continuous disregard of school policies
• Disrespect or defiance of authority
• Membership, participation in exclusive and unauthorized organizations such as fraternities
• Scandalous display of affection such as kissing, necking, petting
• Fighting with serious physical injury
• Other acts considered malicious or undesirable that create scandal of the moral integrity if the school.
COMMISSION OF ANY OF THE MINOR OFFENSES WILL BE DEALT WITH THE FOLLOWING:
First Offense: A reprimand by the school authority concerned.
Second Offense: The parent/ guardian shall be called for appearance in the school and shall be informed of the student's misconduct and shall conform with the written warning issued to the student. Repeated minor offense is considered a major offense.
NOTE: Exhibiting (?) minor offense repeatedly is considered as a major offense, likewise with various minor offenses.
Third Offense: The parent/guardian shall again be summoned for final warning to his/ her child. The final warning will constitute the last chance given to the student otherwise; he will be forced to leave the school for continuous violation of the school rules and regulations.
MAJOR OFFENSE WILL ERRAND A STUDENT OF THE FOLLOWING:
First Offense: The parent/ guardian shall immediately be called for a case conference. The minimum sanction depending on the gravity of the case shall be suspension from the classes. The student, if given another chance will be under probation for a period of time.
Second Offense: The student in the presence of his/her parent will be informed that he is to be dropped from the roll or may choose to transfer to another school.
